After selling some of the action on ChipMeUp, i sat down at 10pm to start the $11r event on PokerStars.
It was a dodgy start i made it to the break with a low stack. It was so low i alomst didnt add on as it was looking like a waste of time. But i did it, Add on please virtual dealer man.
All of a sudden it was 12:15am and the wife was walking in from work, and i just cashed in 7th in a little $3 KO on FTP. I was looking good after a few solid hands and was back to about the 180/400 mark. With top 162 cashing i thought i can cash in this.
Next minute i was short stacked again and looking at just missing the money 190/199. Open shover with my last 7 BBs with Qc8c and get called by QQ in the SB. Magic turn gave me the flush and maybe the chips i needed to cash.
About 2am and i am in the money 50/147. After flopping a set of 7s vs AK on a K7X board i was in the lead 1/45 left and was in a situation like my favourite SNGs, the 45 players!
4am and i am sitting 1/19n with a nice 90k chip lead. It took about an hour to play down to the final table, and lucky me got quad 9s to take us to the FT. Wasnt long till we were down to 7 players and thats when i stepped it up a gear and ran over the table. I knocked out the next 5 players to take us Heads up vs a guy who i had been battling all night.
I have a nice lead with 3.2 to his 1.4 but it didnt last long when my KK went down to A4 and so many more hands feel away.
All in for my last 900k with AJ vs AK and the board bricked out leaving me sitting here at 6:10am, 8hrs into the game with a 2nd place for just over $4,000. With a super pumped share holder on the rail it was ok to finish 2nd but i feel like i let myself down heads up.
Now its 6:20am and i am trying to payout investors who scored a nice $US400 each for a little $5 outlay. Now if that isnt a great reason to buy shares i dont know what is.
After what seemed like 10min sleep i am awake and having to try and maintain a normal day. Not going too bad so far but ask me again later on.
Go swans vs the hawks today, a Sydney win would cap of a great weekend.
